It is not meant to be used frequently, and should be used only when you see fuzzy picture or when the camcorder prompts you too (like my sony dv camcorder did). Excellent Product and works with most DV camcorders. I have been using a camcorder head cleaner for as long as I have owned one, and if you just play it for 10 seconds (single pass), it should do the job on most machines that have been maintained.
I tried to do that for 2 times but it didn't work until I decided to leave a full 1 minute, and it worked at last. It advertised that you only need 10 seconds to clean up the video head. For such a price, this is a okay product. Well, the product did its job. However, it took way longer time to make affect.
It's supposed to be as simple as inserting the tape and pressing play.wouldn't buy again unless someone can help troubleshoot this problem. The delivery was great and on time but when I follow the instructions on the tape nothing happens.
Please only use as directed and you will get the best results from this cleaning tape. Great Product.
When I returned home I ordered it and after 10 seconds the problem was gone. Great Product. Got the dreaded blue bars and heads need cleaned message on my panasonic 3CCD PV-GS250 while I was on vacation.
